The Hurlow project features a central stringer staircase, finished in Flax Pod powder coat for a clean, architectural presence. A 50mm continuous oak handrail runs the full length of the stair and continues seamlessly down the standard staircase to the basement, providing a strong sense of connection across levels.

Fixing plates were set flush with the underside of the treads, with countersunk fixings for a crisp, minimalist finish. While the glass balustrade was provided by others, they used pin fixings powder-coated to match the stringer, maintaining visual harmony throughout.

A well-executed design that balances precision, durability, and natural warmth.
