Bruford Place — Feature Staircase

The Bruford Place project features a steel staircase finished in tiles, leading down to breathtaking views of the Hauraki Gulf. The stair is framed by a unique pipe balustrade, powder-coated in white, offering a crisp, sculptural element that softens the robust construction.

Installed in two stages, the balustrade was fitted separately to accommodate site logistics and finishing details. It also serves a dual purpose — not only providing safety but also enclosing the space beneath the stairs, with a discreet access opening allowing entry to the storage area.

This was a rewarding project with a great client who has since become a friend of Stairworks — a true example of how great work builds lasting relationships as well as beautiful spaces.
